DCM Modular Data Center Racks and Enclosures


DCM modular racks are the basic building block for any IT space. These server rack cabinets are available in a variety of heights, widths and depths, and feature tool-less accessories and multiple door options to meet data center design needs. The racks are designed to optimize air flow and maximize useful mounting space. DCM racks are compatible with Liebert XDR rear door cooling, Liebert MB busway, and the Vertiv family of rack PDUs.

The DCM rack provides a fully assembled aluminum extruded frame with a patented T Slot, offering many quick mount options. It is offered in heights of 42U and 45U, widths of 600mm, 700mm and 800mm and depths of 1000mm, 1100mm and 1200mm. Racks may be ordered and delivered with installed Liebert MPH or Liebert MPX rack power distribution, or Liebert GXT3 or Liebert PSI rackmount UPS.

Configurations specifically designed to meet size, airflow and cable management requirements for Cisco® Nexus 7010 and 7018 Switches are also available.


Liebert Challenger 3000 with Advanced Microprocessor


Liebert Challenger 3000 provides complete control of temperature, humidity and air filtration. The unit offers an extremely compact footprint, ideal for facilities where space is at a premium. All critical components are front-accessible, so the unit may be corner-installed or installed flush against other equipment.

Liebert Challenger 3000 is available in 10.5 and 17.5 kW (3 and 5 tons) capacities, 60 Hz and 50 Hz models. Air cooled, water cooled, glycol cooled, GLYCOOL™ and chilled water configurations. Upflow and downflow models available.

Liebert Challenger ITR, Row-Based Precision Cooling System, 23 and 33kW


Liebert Challenger ITR is a horizontal airflow precision cooling unit that fits within a row of equipment racks. It draws hot air in through the extended rear door and supplies chilled conditioned air through a low profile, cold aisle discharge plenum.

Liebert Challenger ITR is available in nominal 23kW or 33kW capacity, 60Hz. 50Hz models also available. Air-cooled, water-cooled, glycol-cooled, GLYCOOL, chilled water and split system configurations. The horizontal airflow pattern is suitable for raised or non-raised floors.

Liebert Himod


Liebert Himod precision cooling system provides precise temperature regulation, humidity control and air filtration in a high-efficiency, space-saving, low-noise unit. It provides the temperature regulation, humidity control and air filtration required by electronic equipment in computer rooms, telecommunications sites and other high tech environments. Featuring total front access for installation and service, Liebert Himod fits easily into tight spaces. Liebert Himod is available in capacities from 28-42kW (8-12 tons), 60Hz. Air-cooled, glycol-cooled, GLYCOOL and Dual Cool configurations are available in upflow and downflow models.

Liebert ICS Industrial Cooling


Your process control equipment has to be tough in order to operate under harsh conditions, and the air conditioner maintaining the environment must match this durability. The Liebert ICS is designed for the physical needs of industrial sites, with rugged and serviceable components to ensure continuous operation.

ICS also has the intelligence that microprocessor technology provides. This advanced system provides close temperature and humidity control, improving the operating conditions for your electronic process control equipment.

Cooling coil. The Liebert manufactured A-Frame coil (slab coil on 60 ton models) is constructed of copper tubes and aluminum fins, and is provided with a rust-proof stainless steel drain pan. The condensate drain line is internally trapped to simplify installation. The large surface area of the coil allows greater cooling capabilities, and the split-coil design provides greater control during dehumidification.

Semi-hermetic compressors. Two independently-circuited cast-iron semi-hermetic compressors are the industry standard for rugged operation. The heavy, sealed cast-iron cases protect the assembly from dust, moisture and other contaminants. The field-serviceable design saves time in maintenance.

Stainless steel electric reheat. The fin-tubular reheat operates in three equal stages, providing greater control of air temperature. The low watt density, electrically enclosed elements are surrounded by the stainless steel tube and fins, reducing sheath temperatures that could cause ionization of dust particles.

Steam-generating humidifier. The micro-processorcontrolled humidification system adds clean, pure steam to the coil bypass air when humidity is required. The disposable canister, complete with supply and drain valves, is factory installed and located out of the air stream. It is also easily maintained—an indicator light on the unit monitor panel signals when the canister should be changed. Automatic humidifier flush cycles are tailored to your site needs to lengthen service life.

Removable fan section. Two epoxy-coated Class II fans are standard in all ICS units. These double width, double inlet blowers draw air across the cooling coil for uniform air distribution and effective coil performance. For greater reliability in operation, each fan is driven by a separate Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) motor. The entire assembly is statically and dynamically balanced to less than 2 mils, and is mounted on a front removable slide base for easy service.

Liebert XDF


Extreme density electronic equipment is turning up in many non-traditional spaces — spaces without the benefit of computer room air conditioning to provide cooling for the generated heat loads. This rack-based equipment must be protected with the same level of air, power and security support as a conventional computer room, but with the economies of scale and price in mind.

Liebert XDF™ is high density cooling integrated into a secured rack enclosure, providing the benefits of big room support in a cost-effective package. Optimized horizontal air circulation cools the protected equipment, both in standard mode and in backup ventilation mode. Control and monitoring are accomplished with the cabinet-mounted Liebert iCOM control system. In addition, optional Liebert UPS, advanced power strips and remote monitoring systems are available to customize the level of support to individual equipment needs.

Liebert XDK-W

Blade servers and other rack-based, extreme density IT equipment require a high level of cooling, power and security support. The Liebert XDK-W meets this challenge with a proven integrated rack enclosure solution that creates a protective environment for these critical electronic components.

Completely sealed from room air, high density server racks inside the Liebert XDK-W utilize closed air circulation for cooling. The server heat load is dissipated into the process cold water system through an air-to-water heat exchanger in the bottom of the rack. Redundant high-performance fans drive closed loop air circulation in the rack’s interior, while servers are supplied with cold air at the front of the rack.

The Liebert XDK-W is a part of the Liebert XD high heat-density cooling product family. Key to the performance and space efficiency of Liebert XDK-W is the Liebert Pumping Unit, XDP-W. The unit houses the isolating heat exchanger between the Liebert XDK-W water circuit and the building chilled water, as well as the control valve, pumps and system controls. It controls the fluid temperature to always be above the actual room dew point to prevent condensation on the piping and the coils.
